Nicola Bird is the Chair of the FEP, taking over the role in June 2025. 

Nicola is a highly respected local business leader and Chief Operating Officer of the Cinderford-based KW Bell Group, and brings a wealth of experience and commitment to the Forest of Dean.

A passionate advocate for local development and skills, Nicola also founded AccXel Construction School, a groundbreaking initiative supported by GFirst LEP and HM Government, aimed at nurturing talent and developing skills within the construction sector.
