Gareth is co owner at Pedalabikeaway cycle centre in the Forest of Dean, Pedal Syndicate, a bike shop in Monmouth, and Wye MTB, a coaching and guiding company.

Gareth has been mountain biking since the early 90’s and raced at world cup and world championship level, before switching to racing on the road and racing semi professionally for a number of years

After completing a BSc in Sport Science, and later an MBA Gareth went on to work to work in a number of sports and fitness roles, before joining the British Cycling High Performance Team - taking the team to London 2012 and 6 World Championships.

Gareth lives in Monmouth, with his wife and 2 kids
